Letter: Writer bewildered by Pfau’s dismissal
I would like to take a moment to publicly reflect on a few concerns that are troubling me in regards to the recent dismissal of the school district’s superintendent, Mr. Doug Pfau, by the Meeker School Board.
RIO BLANCO DAYS GONE BY
The Meeker Herald — 100 years ago • Sulphur Creek is now dry. Last year it had running water all season. But this is an off season. • With the completion of the Lost Creek Ditch the Coal Creek mesa region will be supplied with an abundance of water.
Potential for fire high this holiday season
Temperatures are climbing and so are fire indicators in northwest Colorado. Fire danger is very high in Rio Blanco and Moffat counties and moderate to high in Routt, Jackson and Grand Counties.
