MEEKER — Nick and Tara Cojocaru, of Rozet, Wyo., have a new baby girl: Brooke Lynn, 6 pounds 4.1 ounces and 18 1/2 inches long. She was born Sept. 26, 2008, at 12:38 a.m. in Gillette, Wyo., at Campbell County Memorial Hospital.

Large load traveling Highway 13 today
RBC — An oversized load, headed to the new Williams Gas Plant in the Piceance Creek Basin, will make its way through Rio Blanco County today and Friday.
Chemical spill caused by truck on 64
RBC — One ranch was evacuated and traffic was detoured Wednesday morning because of a chemical spill after a Halliburton flat-bed semi rolled over on Highway 64, about 14 miles east of Rangely. The truck was carrying two large chemical tanks.
