BMS volleyball heads into final tournament

MEEKER | Barone Middle School volleyball traveled to Rangely for a six-team tournament where they found a lot of success. Craig, Steamboat, Hayden, Vernal and Rangely were all in attendance. The seventh grade had a phenomenal weekend, going undefeated and taking first place.  The eighth grade played two great games against Craig and Steamboat and won both of them, however, they ended up losing to Rangely.

“The girls played really hard, and we are proud of them for keeping their heads held high after a tough loss,” commented Jordan Brown. “We will have a chance at redemption this weekend, in our final tournament of the season.”

The seventh and eighth grade B teams will be traveling to Craig on Friday for their tournament and then Meeker will be hosting the A tournament at Meeker High School on Saturday with the first games beginning at 9 a.m.
