Letters To The Editor
Letter to the Editor: Teams didn’t stumble
Dear Editor: We found your headline of three weeks ago stating that the DI teams stumbled at globals to be quite offensive.
Letter to the Editor: Value of Meeker Elementary School
Dear Editor: The story is told of a collector of antique rifles who liked to haggle for the best price when purchasing such treasures.
Letter to the Editor: Know signs of sexual abuse
Dear Editor: Connections 4 Kids, the early childhood council serving Moffat and Rio Blanco counties, hosted sexual abuse-prevention workshops for parents and anyone who works with children in May in Craig and Meeker.
Letter to the Editor: DI teams didn’t stumble at Globals
Dear Editor: It was wrong of you to write a headline stating that the Meeker DI teams stumbled at globals.

Letter to the Editor: CO-STARS volunteers appreciated

Letter to the Editor: DI teams thankful for community support
Dear Editor: At the beginning of the school year, we had nine teams participate in Meeker’s Destination Imagination program. Five of these teams went on to compete at the state tournament in Denver, and of those five, three teams placed high enough to qualify for the global competition in Tennessee.
Letter to the Editor: Don’t raze the old elementary school

Letter to the Editor: DI teams winners, not stumblers
Dear Editor: I am disappointed in your headline. Your headline about the Destination Imagination teams diminishes their incredible accomplishment. None of those teams stumbled. In fact, they have accomplished things and learned life lessons that many adults still need to learn.
