Even the Amish people are having a hard time getting along with each other in our national atmosphere of meanness and griping and complaining. In Ohio, a 66-year-old man and two of his sons were arrested last week for hair-cutting attacks.
Loose Ends: The most important civic duty
There are a lot of references to doing one’s civic duty throughout the year. Making a change in the community involves more than signing up to help a local organization or two. It means taking time on Election Day to vote.
