Memorial honors county veterans
MEEKER I The ground was broken in early June on the lawn and sidewalk at the Rio Blanco County Courthouse, but the statue and the stone/concrete construction of the actual Rio Blanco County Veterans Memorial will be unveiled and dedicated in downtown Meeker on Thursday after the parade.
Run for Your Life 5K race
MEEKER I Since 1979, locals and visitors alike have gathered in the early morning hours on July 4 for another kind of parade – the Run for Your Life 5K walk/run.

RBC I Moffat County Youth United Way, the youth component of Moffat County United Way, and Connections 4 Kids, the early childhood council serving Moffat and Rio Blanco counties, reports that registration for Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library has reopened for Meeker residents.
