MHS boys headed into two big games
MEEKER I The Meeker High School boys’ basketball team has two big games coming up. Finding a way to win both would be crucial to their standings going into the district tournament in two weeks.
Another win for the Lady Cowboys, record now 15-1
MEEKER I Meeker girls’ basketball earned another win for their season Feb. 8 when they met up with the Vail Christian Saints. In the first play of the game, post Kacey Collins nailed a jump shot to start the scoring for the lady Cowboys.

MEEKER I The Meeker High School boys’ basketball team continued their winning streak in league play with wins over Debeque and Plateau Valley over the weekend.
Ladies stomp Plateau Valley 67-22
MEEKER I Meeker High School’s girls’ basketball earned another big win to extend their record to 11-1 on Saturday, Jan. 26. The lady Cowboys are ranked No. 8 in the state with their only loss of the season to the No. 7 ranked team, Paonia.
Three big wins for the MHS ladies
MEEKER I As the state’s No. 7 ranked team, the lady Cowboys earned three dominating wins starting with a 51-24 victory in Rangely on Tuesday, Jan. 15.

MEEKER I The Meeker High School boys’ basketball team came out of the holiday break strong, winning both their games last Friday and Saturday. The Cowboys traveled to Hotchkiss Friday night and beat the Bulldogs 52-37.
