The Meeker Cowboys continued a long tradition of producing state champions with senior Colby Clatterbaugh’s win at the state wrestling tournament last week. Clatterbaugh went undefeated all season and is the first Cowboy to do so since 2007. MEEKER I Eight Meeker Cowboy wrestlers are state bound for the 2020 Colorado High School Wrestling Tournament. Fourteen boys entered the regional tournament and 10 placed; as a team the Cowboys ended in fourth place, Paonia and Hotchkiss squeaked ahead in the last couple matches.
