The Rangely High School golf team consists of two golfers from Rangely and two from Meeker and the four of them played a practice round at Gypsum Creek Golf Course before playing in the state-qualifying regional tournament Tuesday.

RANGELY I The Rangely Panthers bounced back after a season-opening loss and shut out the Plateau Valley Cowboys 60-0 on Yeager Field in front of a hometown crowd.
MHS Cowboys win third in a row
MEEKER I Just like the Denver Broncos, lightning delayed the first home game for the Meeker Cowboys. However, instead of a delay at the start, lightning delayed the second half for Meeker, although both teams went on to win.
