Trey Morris, a senior at Meeker High School, was invited to play basketball at the International Sports Festival in Columbus, Ohio in July. He was one of ten players invited from Colorado to attend the USA Junior Nationals week long tournament.

MEEKER I The annual Lischke golf tournament, the only tournament held on the Meeker Golf Course that invites golfers from anywhere to compete as individuals, was held last weekend but local golf pro Jim Cook said the “story” was about the winner of the annual pro-am tournament, preceding the Lischke.
Watts tees off No. 5
Defending Lischke champion J.C. Watt tees off No. 5 at the Meeker Golf Course. Watt led from start to finish to win back-to-back Lischke titles, six shots ahead of the runner-up.
