RHS wins league baseball title
RANGELY I Not only did the Panthers beat county rival Meeker, they won the league championship at the same time. Rangely routed the Cowboys in two games Saturday — 21-13 and 25-9. But, most importantly, the Panthers came away as league champs.

RANGELY I Twenty-five Rangely wrestlers competed in Casey Turner Memorial Wrestling Tournament on Saturday in Meeker. We had 15 wrestlers place and 10 wrestling well, but coming up short. Placing first were Tyce Lucero, Tytus Coombs and Devin Ramirez. Placing second were Karver Lopez, Byron Mackey and Brody McElhaney.

RANGELY I We started off a tough season facing weather and rescheduling issues. With Basalt and Aspen, we faced right off the bat two of the toughest teams in the league. Our defense played great and held out until the end, but we we lost both games.
No snow this time for MHS tracksters
MEEKER I This past weekend, the Meeker High School Track and Field team traveled to Grand Junction for their second meet of the season, hosted by Palisade High School. This time, the weather cooperated.

RANGELY I Going into Tuesday’s doubleheader against Paonia, the two teams were tied for the league lead. They still are. Like the first time the two teams matched up this season, they split a doubleheader Tuesday.
