Meeker hosts playoff game Saturday

MEEKER I After a crushing defeat to the Paonia Eagles in the regular season finale, the Meeker girls’ basketball team finished as the No. 4 seed and will host a district playoff game this Saturday against Soroco.

Panthers stay at home for districts

Meeker sends three to state

MEEKER I “We have one more going than we did last year, so that’s positive,” Meeker wrestling coach Joe Gutierrez said of the three Cowboy wrestlers who qualified for the Colorado State Wrestling Champion-ships at last weekend’s regional tournament in Palisade.
