RBC named disaster area by the USDA

RBC I Colorado U.S. Sen. Michael Bennet has announced that the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) has designated 38 Colorado counties — including Rio Blanco County — suffering from severe losses due to drought as natural disaster areas.

Obituary: Toni Lynn Simmons

Toni Lynn Simmons was born in Meeker, Colo., to Chris and Lynn Carroll on Feb. 15, 1988. She attended all of her school years in Meeker, graduating from Meeker High School in 2006. Toni attended cosmetology school in Craig, Colo.
