Meeker trio wins best ball tournament

RANGELY I The holiday came early for three Meeker golfers. Lex Collins, Pat Hughes and Bryce Ducey combined for top honors with a gross score of 63, which is 9 under par, at the Cedar Ridges Memorial Day Best Ball Tournament on Saturday.

MEEKER I At the May 18 Town of Meeker board of trustees meeting, members of the board heard the results of a historical assessment of the community started last summer. Rich Sales from the University of Colorado at Denver, who has worked with the town previously, helped administrate the assessment.
