RANGELY | Kacey Denny saved his best for last. Rangely’s junior golfer turned in his top score of the season in the Coal Ridge tournament Sept. 17 at Lakota Canyon Golf Club in New Castle.

RANGELY I The Panthers’ junior high football teams split their games Saturday with Steamboat Springs. The seventh-graders won 12-6, while the eighth-graders lost 22-8.
Letter: WWII vets will make second honor flight
The first Western Slope Honor Flight (WSHF) was so successful and rewarding for the 110 WWII veterans who participated on the inaugural flight Aug. 25-26 that the WSHF board has decided to schedule a second flight for May 4-5, 2010.
