MEEKER I After a party upriver Aug. 1, a 15-year-old Meeker girl was taken to the hospital the following day with alcohol poisoning, and two Meeker men were later arrested in connection with the incident and charged with contributing to the delinquency of a minor, a Class 4 felony.

I don’t understand what’s so hard about trying to get a letter to the editor concerning pro-life remarks, especially when there was a woman standing up for the rights of all women a.k.a. right to abortion.
Meeker contributes $1,000 to powwow
MEEKER I The board of trustees agreed to sponsor the Smoking River Pow Wow this year at the “gold” level of $1,000. The powwow committee had requested a $2,000 donation at the last meeting.
