MEEKER I The Meeker Cowboy varsity baseball team won two games last week, including a comeback win against Grand Valley in front of a home crowd.

Cowboys drop two games to Paonia, 14-2 and 27-2
MEEKER I “Paonia is always tough,” Meeker head baseball coach Jason Browning said. The Eagles were in Meeker on Saturday and won a doubleheader held after a JV game at Paintbrush Park. The Cowboys played in Hotchkiss on Tuesday and will host them at home Saturday.

Season ends for Meeker, excited about the future
MEEKER I For the first time in several years, the Meeker Cowboy baseball team advanced to post-season play. And although the Dolores Bears ended the Cowboys’ season with a 3-2 win in Cortez in the first round of the 2A state playoffs, Meeker coaches are excited about the future.
Meeker Cowboys come out on top of RBC rivalry
RBC I The Meeker High School baseball team finished the regular season with a 0-12 league record, and the Rangely High School team finished with a 4-8 league record, its four wins coming from beating its Rio Blanco County rival in two doubleheaders.
