Judging team wraps up season

RBC I The 2011 RBC judging team wrapped up its season this last weekend. A new wrinkle in the schedule allowed the team to compete in Montrose at the third annual Tri River Area judging contest Friday, then continue on to Gunnison to compete in the 65th annual Gunnison County 4-H contest Saturday.

Fun with beef

RANGELY I For the last few days, we have been making beef jerky. It was a lot of fun! We were each given about 10 pieces of beef. We had to marinade it with a certain “Hawaiian” marinade, then we were allowed to add additional seasonings to our meat!

RBC I Rangely and Meeker 4-H Achievement Nights Rangely and Meeker 4-H Clubs announced awards in recent ceremonies. Rangely Awards Night was held Sunday, Nov. 7 while Meeker Awards Night was held Sunday, Nov. 14.
