MEEKER | According to Dessa Watson extension agent 4-H/Youth development, “a nice group of kiddos” served 34 grandparents at the annual 4-H grandparent appreciation dinner, held in Meeker early this month.

Shults undefeated in showmanship
MEEKER I Madi Shults, a member of the White River 4-H Livestock Club, returned from the 2012 Colorado State Fair. Accomplishing two of the three goals she set at the beginning of this 4-H season.
Local saddlemaker shares passion for his craft
MEEKER I Bob Klenda’s most recent award-winning piece was a beautiful leather heart that earned “Best of Show.” The piece is symbolic of the volunteerism he and Mike Brennan give to the local 4-H club and other community members.
RBC 4-H alumnus in hall of fame
RBC I The Colorado 4-H Hall of Fame was established in 2011 to recognize 4-H alumni who have made significant contributions or accomplishments in their lives and attribute those accomplishments to their 4-H experience.
