Dear Editor: I recently had personal contact with a county employee over the issue of the ugliest security entrance to their justice center (you note I said “their” and for sure it’s not mine) and was told there just wasn’t any rock available.

The first week of January saw Meeker 4-H Program Coordinator Carley Smith visit Kay Bivens’ library class demonstrating STEM (Science. Technology, Engineering and Math) activities to first through fifth graders. The theme for this week’s presentation was engineering, focusing on building model ski jumps.
