Entries sought for lamb cook-off

MEEKER I The Culinary Taste of Lamb Cook-off, held in conjunction with the art reception at the Wilber Barn today from 5 to 7 p.m., will feature lamb recipes prepared by vendors at the Meeker Classic Sheepdog trials.

PEO Quilt Show set for Sept. 5-6

MEEKER I The annual PEO Quilt Show will be held Sept. 5 and 6 at the Freeman E. Fairfield Center in Meeker, 200 Main St., featuring new and old quilts to raise funds for educational assistance and opportunities for women.
