Meeker Elementary gym reopens
MEEKER I After more than a month, the gym at the new Meeker Elementary School has reopened. The gym was closed Oct. 6 because of safety concerns after it was discovered the east wall had shifted away from the roof. The gym remained closed while repairs were made.
Watt may display sign part of the year
MEEKER I Harry Watt’s battle with the town of Meeker over a sign he had painted on the side of a truck is over. He can continue to use the truck to advertise the Blue Spruce Inn, for at least half of the year.
