MEEKER I The Meeker Cowboys improved on their season record this past weekend with a pair of wins over the Vail Mountain Gore Rangers and cross county rivals the Rangely Panthers.

RBC I Both Rio Blanco County high school wrestling teams will travel across the state line to open the 2012 season at the Tournament of Champions in Vernal, Utah, and three of the local basketball teams will host at least one home game this weekend.
Hardy wins West Grand
MEEKER I “It was a good week for Hardy,” Meeker wrestling coach J.C. Watt said of senior Justin Hardy who won the 170-pound bracket last Saturday in Kremmling. Hayden won the team title, which featured 13 teams.
