RHS track team holds on to trophy
RANGELY I Last weekend was Rangely’s very own “Rangely Open” track meet. Even though it was a very small meet, the majority of the Panther athletes continued to excel in their times, distances, heights and lengths.

RANGELY I The Rangely Panther Youth Wrestling team was in Rifle this past weekend. With 28 Rangely wrestlers competing in the tournament, 17 placed in the top four and 10 competed in the championship.

MEEKER I Warm temperatures and favorable winds led to a good day for the Meeker High School Track and Field Team last Saturday. It was one of the best showings in terms of overall team performance of the season for both the boys’ and the girls’ squads.
Middle school track teams enjoy strong showing
RBC I Rio Blanco County’s middle school track teams had an outstanding meet Saturday in Craig. The weather was beautiful and proved conducive to fast times and long throws for both teams.

Meeker youth wrestlers crown six champions in Hayden
MEEKER I Twenty-three members of the Meeker Community Wrestling Club wrestled in Hayden last Saturday and 18 placed in the top four, including six champions. Meeker youth wrestlers will each wrestle an intramural match tonight at the high school starting at 5 p.m.
