RANGELY I The Rangely Panthers qualified four wrestlers for the 2013 Colorado State Wrestling Championships held last weekend in the Pepsi Center. RANGELY I The Rangely boys’ basketball team lost their final game of the regular season in Meeker last Friday and a loss in Kremmling ended the season for the Panthers but head coach Eric Hejl is ready to start working toward next year’s success.
Lady Panthers drop two
RANGELY I The Rangely girls’ basketball team lost games to Paonia and Hotchkiss last week and will play their final game of the regular season in Meeker, this Friday. Rangely hosted Paonia last Friday and lost 26-55, to the league’s No. 1 team.
Panthers lose league games to Eagles, Bulldogs
RANGELY I The Rangely Panthers lost league games last weekend to Paonia (53-57) at home, then in Hotchkiss to the Bulldogs (47-54) and will play in Meeker for the final game of the regular season this Friday.
RJHS girls end season 9-0
RBC I The middle school girls finished their season last weekend with a tournament in Craig. Rangely’s seventh-graders came out on top with a perfect 9-0 season. They not only won all of their games and were crowned tournament champions, but also scored an average of 35 points per game[Read More…]

RANGELY I Only six Rangely wrestlers competed in the Region 1, state-qualifying tournament last weekend in Grand Junction and four qualified for the Colorado State Wrestling Championships to be held in the Pepsi Center in downtown Denver, which started Thursday afternoon.
