Letter: Care of cemetery is appreciated

A great big thank you and a huge round of applause is due to Mr. Art Cox and his team who so carefully groom our beautiful Meeker cemetery. It is truly a wonderful tribute to this community and to those of us who have loved ones there.

Snowed in

Stetson Wiedrich, 6, who lives in Wyoming, and his uncle Kyler Ross, built a snow fort Nov. 13 in front of Stetson’s grandparents’ house at Fourth and Main Street in Meeker. His grandparents are Brady and Chris Ross.

Elks recognize veterans

RANGELY | Rangely Elks Lodge No. 1907 provided lunch for Rangely veterans at the fifth annual celebration Nov. 20 at the Radino Center. There were 23 attendees. From left, Tom Collins, Paul McCracken, Norm Hall, Carol Jensen, Leland Spence, Don Reed, Ross Alire and Jake Roberts.
