Watt demonstrates the “power of one”

MEEKER – It just goes to show, one person still has the power to affect change in a community. Harry Watt, co-owner of the Blue Spruce Inn, stepped up to the planning commission and spoke up about his desire to see a change made to the town’s sign code.

4-H clubs selling daffodils this week

MEEKER — It’s 4-H season already and the scrapbook club has met four times. In those four meetings we have elected officers, learned how to use cutting tools, layout our pages, use brads, eyelets and layering effects.

Lady Panthers win home opener, 3-0

RANGELY — Friday the 13th was good luck for the Rangely High School soccer team as it earned its first win of the season, 3-0, against Vail Christian. Fourteen players, returning and new, have joined the squad this year. Six of those have never played soccer before.
