RANGELY — Michael Morton, son of David and Carol Morton of Rangely and a homeschooled senior, demonstrated he is well prepared for college by earning the top composite score of 36 on the ACT college admissions and placement exam.
Rushers named ‘home of’ honoree
RANGELY — Wade and Lynn Rusher of Rangely are this week’s “home of” honorees. Wade moved to Rangely in 1997. Shortly after arriving, Wade and Lynn were married. They celebrated their 11th wedding anniversary this year.
Conservation tree program under way
RBC — The White River and Douglas Creek Conservation District’s 2009 tree program is underway. The Conservation Tree Program enables local landowners to obtain affordable seedlings for windbreaks, wildlife habitat, erosion control, noise or visual barriers or other conservation uses.
