Members of the Masonic Lodge laid the cornerstone at the new Meeker High School building last week, just in time for students to return to school. MSD Superintendent Chris Selle and MHS Principal Amy Chinn applied some mortar. A time capsule was placed behind the stone.
Dinwiddie earns pilot’s licenses
Meeker High School Class of 2013 and U.S. Air Force Academy Class of 2018 graduate Kaitlyn Dinwiddie has completed a year-long undergraduate pilot training, earning her commercial fixed and rotary wing single engine pilot’s licenses. Most of the remaining high school building has come down in the past week, and work on the new bus barn has begun. Soil preparation was underway last Tuesday afternoon.
