MEEKER — The eighth-grade boys’ basketball team is a great group of kids. However, until last weekend they had not won a game — in any sport — ever … not even as seventh-graders.

MEEKER — Many Colorado wrestling fans were treated to the opportunity of watching Henry Cejudo win two state titles a few years ago in the Pepsi Center. Since then, the 21-year-old has won an Olympic gold medal and will speak in Meeker Nov. 28.
Barone Middle School nips Craig in seventh-grade game
MEEKER — All four Barone Middle School basketball teams played competitive games against the Craig Middle School Bullpups but only the seventh-grade B team was able to win on their home court last Saturday.

BMS 7th-graders continue to win
MEEKER — For a second week in a row, the Barone Middle School A-team won its basketball game last Saturday it was in Craig. The seventh-grade B-team and both of the BMS eighth-grade teams lost to the Bullpups.
