Children’s health screening is March 8-9

MEEKER | A free children’s health fair and preschool registration will be held for children ages birth to 5. Children will be screened for vision, hearing, speech/language, height, weight, oral hygiene, motor skills, cognitive abilities, self-help skills and social/emotional skills.

Principal has seen short week up close

Political meet and greet set for March 7

MEEKER I Dee Weiss will host a meet and greet with state and local political candidates Sunday, March 7 at the Fawn Gallery in downtown Meeker. “Some of the state candidates will be here,” Weiss said. “And we’ve invited our local people who are running.”
