Ground and air teams have been dispatched to the Howard Fire, approximately 15 miles west of Meeker near Rio Blanco Lake and Piceance Creek. The fire, on Bureau of Land Management property, was first reported on Sunday, July 16 and was estimated at 245 acres as of press time Wednesday.[Read More…]
