Microburst boasts 70-85 mph winds
RANGELY | Strong, damaging winds from a thunderstorm struck the town of Rangely in northwest Colorado on the evening of June 28. A National Weather Service (NWS) storm survey of the Rangely area determined that a (dry) microburst had occurred.

Rangely microburst damages dorm
A violent storm ripped through the CNCC Rangely Campus June 28. What many are claiming to be a tornado or microburst blew through the campus taking off the roof of the northwest half of Nichols Residence Hall.
